An estate with a history

Quinta do Couço has belonged to the family since 1864, the year it was acquired by António Vilela Areias.

In 1889, the wine produced on the estate was already crossing borders: António Vilela Areias sent the 1888 red wine vintage to the Paris Universal Exhibition.

Today, more than a century later, we continue to write that story and want to share it with our visitors.
